The Northern Plains Indian Art Market is committed to preserving and enhancing traditional and contemporary arts of the Northern Plains tribes. The mission of Sinte Gleska University is to hold an annual Indian Art Show and Market to provide Northern Plains artists an opportunity for artistic, educational, cultural, and economic growth.
The Twenty-First Annual Northern Plains Indian Art Market 2008 offers more than $13,000 in prize money. This prize money includes Best of Tribal Arts and Best of Fine Arts pieces from Northern and Canadian Plains tribes.
Any enrolled member of a defined Northern Plains tribe is eligible to apply for the Market and Juried Art Show with proof of tribal enrollment or Northern Plains descent, regardless of current place or residence.
